Bangchak Launches One Million Bottles for Flood Relief

Bangchak’s “One Million Bottles for Flood Relief” campaign, aimed at supporting flood victims across Thailand, has been launched with the collective effort of Bangchak Corporation’s leadership team. Customers refuelling at participating Bangchak and former Esso service stations nationwide are encouraged to donate 1.5-litre bottles of drinking water from 9 to 31 October 2024, or until one million bottles have been collected. This initiative, promoted by Group CEO and President Chaiwat Kovavisarach alongside senior executives, ensures that donated water will be effectively distributed to those in need through coordination with local agencies.
Customers can participate by informing the station staff, and Bangchak will coordinate with local agencies to ensure effective distribution of the water. The campaign is part of Bangchak’s ongoing efforts to aid those affected, supplementing fuel vouchers, cash donations, drinking water, rice, kitchen supplies, and essential items distributed through various agencies. Additionally, Bangchak Green Miles members are invited to redeem their points as donations to the “Friends in Need (of ‘PA’) Volunteers Foundation” under the Thai Red Cross Society to support disaster relief and post-crisis recovery efforts. The company hopes these collective actions will support flood victims during this critical time and restore normalcy soon.
